Callaway Golf is a global golf equipment manufacturer based out of Carlsbad, CA. Callaway planned to release a new  line of irons that was to be their most premium product ever released and needed a television commercial for national broadcast.


The challenge for this project was achieving a premium commercial on an extremely short timeline. From concept to creation and then on-air, the timeline was a total of 5 days. While this is extraordinarily outside of the norm, we did not shy away from the task. Knowing that it needed to be a premium look and feel, we opted for the best ARRI and Phantom cameras (for super slow motion) along with Anamorphic Lenses to give it that extremely cinematic look. We purchased sod and built a green surface in a warehouse studio where we setup lighting and used the high speed Phantom camera for the swing shots, then used the ARRI cameras at Callaway HQ for the R&D lab scenes to tell the story of this iron.
